CHAPTER III — EL BOUHALA After the opening of this journey it comes the important part of Having your mind or thoughts drift, such as letting your imagination roam to wander, or walk aimlessly without a specific destination nor fixed plan. In the Gnawa Lila, El Bouhala carries us to the place where a fixed self has not yet been constructed. What was once still begins to move. The body becomes more present, the rhythm more insistent, and the distance between sound and movement begins to disappear. For our third chapter, Spiritualisma enters this vibrant passage through a dialogue between the ancestral language of Gnawa and the contemporary electronic dancefloor. A meeting between tradition and movement, where rhythm becomes a way of entering the moment rather than simply listening to it.
